Frank V. Schwinn, grandson of the man whose name has become synonymous with bicycles, has died at his home, the firm announced Thursday.

Schwinn, 67, chairman and chief executive officer of the Schwinn Co., died Tuesday of an undisclosed cause at his North Side home, a company statement said.
