What Will Be Closed Monday
All San Diego County schools, as well as city and state offices, will be closed Monday for the national holiday to commemorate the birthday of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
All elementary, junior high and senior high schools will be closed Monday, as will all community colleges. Offices at San Diego State University, UC San Diego and the University of San Diego will also be closed.
Banks and post offices will be closed Monday. Mail delivery will be postponed until Tuesday, but mail will be collected Monday according to the holiday schedule posted on collection boxes.
All city and county libraries will be closed Monday. Likewise, all city, county, state and federal courts and offices will observe the holiday.
There will be no city trash collection Monday, but all county landfills will be open during their regular business hours.
Parking meter rules will not be enforced Monday.
