Filing has opened for elective offices in Palos Verdes Estates and Rolling Hills, where elections will be held on April 12.

Palos Verdes Estates voters will elect two council members and a treasurer, and Rolling Hills voters two council members.

There will be two open council seats in the Palos Verdes Estates election. One is vacant as a result of Barbara Culver’s resignation last year to become city clerk, and Councilman Ronald Florance is not seeking reelection. Voters also will elect a city treasurer, and incumbent Hazel Elder, who has served since 1969, said she will run again.
