Bomb Explodes Near ANC Office
From Reuters
LUSAKA, Zambia —
A bomb exploded near an African National Congress office in the Zambian capital Tuesday, injuring three Zambians but not harming ANC Secretary General Alfred Nzo and Treasurer General Thomas Nkobi, who were in the building, witnesses said.
The injured Zambians, who were not identified, were admitted to a hospital with hearing problems, the witnesses said.
The ANC, the main guerrilla group fighting white rule in South Africa, has previously blamed South African agents for attacks on its offices.
