Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : Residents Sought to Sit on 3 City Commissions

The City of Costa Mesa is seeking residents to serve on three municipal advisory committees.
Two vacancies exist on the 11-member Child Care Committee, one on the 10-member Cultural Arts Committee and two on the 11-member Fairview Park Committee.
The Child Care Committee makes recommendations on such issues as day care for children of working parents.
The Cultural Arts Committee advises the City Council on awarding grants to cultural and arts organizations that serve the community.
The Fairview Park Committee advises the council on the development of the Fairview park site.
Residents interested in serving on one of the three committees are invited to send a letter of interest and a resume to the city manager’s office, City Hall, P.O. Box 1200, Costa Mesa, Calif. 92628-1200.
