La Habra : Raid on Alleged Drug Ring Nets 5 Suspects
A police raid on a suspected drug ring operating in the La Habra area resulted in the arrest of five men and the seizure of an estimated $2,400 in drugs, authorities announced Thursday.
La Habra police said search warrants were served Tuesday at an apartment in the 1700 block of East La Habra Boulevard and another in the 2400 block of West Whittier Boulevard. The search warrants resulted in the arrests and confiscation of heroin and cocaine with an estimated street value of $2,400.
Booked on suspicion of possession and sales of heroin and cocaine were Miguel Marin, 22; Gilberto Millan Pineda, 21; Raul Baltasar Sanchez, 22; Marco Antonio Pineda, 23, and Manuel Pineda, 27, police said. All five are La Habra residents, who were being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail each.
