Driver Killed, Four Passengers Injured in Crash

One man was killed and four people injured Saturday when their car crashed into a cement wall at the entrance to an Anaheim tire store, authorities said.

Anaheim police said Ryan Tarme Brown, 20, of Anaheim was killed in the 1983 Mitsubishi sedan that he had been driving west on East Lincoln Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. The car apparently crossed into the eastbound lane before hitting a cement wall at the Tyre Shack Service Center, 2860 E. Lincoln Ave.

Injured were passengers Mark William Oehlerking, 20, of Irvine, who was ferried by helicopter to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and Kevin Ramsey, 19, of Orange, who was taken to Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. Both were listed in critical condition.

Passengers Aron Todd Hickman, 18, of Villa Park and Royce Ocampo Yu, an 18-year-old Orange woman, were listed in good condition at UCI Medical Center.

Police are investigating the accident.
