Insurance Broker Expands Office Space

Johnson & Higgins, a privately held insurance broker and a tenant since 1978, has expanded its offices at Century Plaza Towers in Century City by 30,000 square feet for a total of about 137,000 square feet.

This expansion and renewal of a 10-year, $35-million lease is believed to be the largest lease transaction in Century City history. The firm will occupy 5 1/2 floors at 2029 Century Park East Tower, and this will bring the occupancy rate to 92% at the twin landmark buildings.
