Local News in Brief : Countywide : Ex-Councilman to Chair County Airport Panel

The Orange County Airport Commission has elected former Huntington Beach city councilman Don MacAllister its chairman for 1988.
MacAllister, 54, was appointed to the panel early last year by Supervisor Harriett M. Wieder. He was named chairman for the one-year term at the commission’s regular meeting Wednesday night at the county Hall of Administration in Santa Ana.
The commission advises the Board of Supervisors on airport matters.
