Maximum Wage
Recently there has been discussion of the minimum wage, pointing out that it was about to be raised from $3.35 to $4.25 in California. Not a great sum. Why don’t we look at the other end of spectrum and see what might be done about a maximum wage?
We read that there are many entertainers bringing home sums ranging from $50 million to $100 million a year. Can you imagine such a sum for the boring nonsense that most of them put out? If we cut the top off their incomes and divide it among the poor souls on minimum wage, the world would be a better place to live in. Give it a try.
