The Irvine Ranch Water District is accepting resumes from people interested in succeeding water board member Jim Goodrich.
Goodrich, an eight-year board member, has accepted a job with the Orange County Water District. To avoid a conflict, Goodrich will resign from the Irvine water board effective March 1.
Applicants should submit resumes to district headquarters by Feb. 12. Board members will interview candidates and pick a replacement to finish Goodrich’s term, which ends in November when the seat is up for reelection.
Candidates must be residents and registered voters of the Irvine Water District, which includes Irvine and parts of Newport Beach and Tustin. District headquarters are at 18802 Bardeen Ave. in Irvine. More information is available by calling (714) 833-1223.
