Lawmaker Out of Intensive Care 3 Days After Surgery

U.S. Rep. Jim Lightfoot (R-Iowa) was moved out of intensive care and into a private hospital room Sunday, three days after double heart bypass surgery, a spokesman said. Lightfoot, 49, “continues to do very well,” aide Bob Rasmus said.
