Arizona State Blanks CSUN in Baseball, 10-0
Arizona State defeated Cal State Northridge, 10-0, in a nonconference baseball game at Packard Stadium in Tempe, Ariz., on Tuesday.
The Sun Devils, 7-0 and ranked No. 9 in Division I, scored five first-inning runs without a hit.
Northridge starting pitcher Leo Ramirez walked six and hit a batter, allowing five earned runs before being pulled after one-third of an inning. He was replaced by Robert Wheatcroft, who forced in another run by hitting the first batter he faced. Northridge (0-2) lost to ASU on Monday, 14-4.
