A Hoover High School senior has been named one of 40 finalists nationwide in the Westinghouse Science Talent Search contest, the nation’s most prestigious science contest for secondary school students. Hong Huynh will compete in Washington later this month for top prize of a $25,000 scholarship. Huynh’s project involves the impact of toxics on leukemia cancer cells.
