Irvine Sensors of Costa Mesa reported a net loss of $256,200 for its fiscal 1988 first quarter, contrasted with a loss of $578,600 for the same period in the previous year. The manufacturer of infrared devices and high density packaging for electronics devices said its sales for the quarter ended Dec. 27 were $615,200, up 128% from $270,200 posted a year earlier.
