L.A. Police Patrols and Fatal Gang Shooting in Westwood
I find it strange that so much media attention has been focused on the recent Westwood shooting. Murders take place almost daily in the economically depressed, high minority areas near downtown and South-Central Los Angeles. Where is the same impetus and urgency to resolve this crisis?
The repercussions of violent criminal activity affect every community in Southern California, not just wealthy, Westside enclaves like Westwood.
