The project won the Jere Driscoll Award for California’s best commercial landscaping. Featuring thousands of plants inside and outside a 12-story motion picture-oriented office complex, the Filmland center was installed by California Landscape Inc., Canoga Park. The designer was Lawrence Reed Moline, Culver City.

In addition to the Driscoll honor, the Filmland project earned the Canoga Park firm a first place in the Interiorscape category. All told, California Landscape won five awards, making it the biggest multiple winner in the contest.
