John P. Hunt, 72, former press secretary to Los Angeles Mayor Sam Yorty and Los Angeles County Dist. Atty. William McKesson. Hunt entered government work from the old Mirror newspaper. After leaving Yorty in 1964, he became community relations director of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo, and wrote a book, “A World Full of Animals.” In Panorama City on Saturday of an apparent pulmonary embolism.
