Three synagogues in eastern areas of San Diego were defaced with black swastikas and other painted threats to their Jewish congregations, police said. No arrests have been made and there are no leads. The targets were Temple Emanu-El in the city’s Del Cerro section, Tifereth Israel Synagogue in nearby San Carlos and Beth Jacob Congregation and Center near San Diego State University.
