Scandinavian Airlines System is studying the purchase of a sizable stake in the state-owned Argentine airline Aerolineas Argentinas and will likely make a decision by May. Argentine Public Works Minister Rodolfo Terragno said in Buenos Aires that his government would sell up to 40% of Aerolineas Argentinas to SAS, a European carrier 50% owned by the governments of Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
