Oceanside Woman Held in Shooting
An Oceanside woman was arrested by police early Monday morning and charged with the attempted murder of her roommate. Oceanside Police Officer Rudy Martinez said that Marion Boredeaux was taken into custody after the 4:19 a.m. shooting.
According to a police report of the shooting, Boredeaux, 55, called police and said that she had shot someone. When officers responded to the woman’s home on Loretta Street, they found Ridel Louise Naylor, 26, shot in the head with a .22-caliber pistol. Naylor was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, where she was listed in serious condition Monday night.
