Former CBS Entertainment President Bud Grant and Tribune Broadcasting jointly announced Thursday that they will team up to form Grant/Tribune Productions, which will produce programming for Tribune and other distributors. Grant emphasized that the sale of Grant/Tribune product to the major networks would be the new company’s initial thrust, with syndication of greater concern later in the company’s life. Grant/Tribune will be headquartered at the studios of KTLA-TV Channel 5 in Hollywood, which Tribune owns.
