OK, Donahue, Make Something Out of It

Under the peerless guidance of Bill Rees, the UCLA football recruiting class has ranked among the top five in each of the last six years. It’s now time for Terry Donahue to develop this talent into a national championship-caliber team. Backing into the Rose Bowl, or playing in postseason embarrassments like the Freedom and Aloha bowls doesn’t do justice to the football talent at Donahue’s disposal.

Any team which habitually runs quarterback sneaks on second and inches, and which has its coach quake at the sight of Oregon and Fresno State, is never going to beat Nebraska.

Come on, Terry, stop coaching not to lose. Coach to win. Shed the Murphy’s Law mentality.
