TUCSON — Stanford’s Matt Frawley took his second title in two days by winning the men’s 1-meter event at the Pacific 10 Conference diving championships Saturday at the University of Arizona’s McKale Pool.
Frawley compiled 498.60 points to beat Todd Watkins (476.70) and Scott Upper (473.95), both of UCLA.
On Friday, Frawley won the men’s 3-meter springboard title with 545.10 points.
Stanford’s Katie Connors also completed a sweep of the women’s events. She took the 1-meter competition Friday with a score of 458.90 and then won the 3-meter event with 481.20 points.
UCLA’s Karla Goltman placed second at 438.75, with Arizona’s Karen Rissenberger third at 420.35.
Connors and Goltman both automatically qualify for the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. Championships at Indianapolis by virtue of their finishes here, while the men qualifiers are determined by point totals later.
The platform diving competition is scheduled for today.
