China Launches Satellite

BEIJING —
China has successfully launched into orbit its 22nd satellite, a synchronous communications satellite, it was reported Tuesday. The nationally televised evening news showed a Long March 3 rocket blasting off Monday night from a launch site in Xichuang, Sichuan province.
