Boy’s Ear, Swallowed by Dog, Reattached

WILMINGTON, N.C. —
A 2-year-old boy was in satisfactory condition today after surgeons reattached one of his ears, which had been bitten off and swallowed by a pit bulldog.
Chris Graham was attacked by three pit bulldogs Tuesday at his grandfather’s farm, authorities said. A veterinarian, after killing the dogs, found the intact left ear in the stomach of one of the animals and turned it over to surgeons.
