John Malkovich will play a 17th-Century Italian nobleman who marries impoverished countess Isabelle Adjani in “The King’s Whore” for a May start in France. The classy affair will be directed by Daniel Vigne (“Return of Martin Guerre”) from a script by Frederic Raphael. . . . “Love At First Bite” director Stan Dragoti and writer Bob Kaufman reteam on Weintraub’s “Daddy’s Little Girl,” a comedy with Tony Danza as a pop confronting his teen-age daughter’s coming of age.
