Barbra Streisand was honored Saturday in Century City with the National Assn. of Record Merchandisers’ Presidential Award, presented to the singer-actress-producer-director during opening ceremonies for NARM’s 30th annual convention. The award was given in recognition of Streisand’s long-running contribution to the record industry. NARM’s membership includes all music retail chains and most record labels.
