Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Film Against Bias to Be Shown at College
Overcoming racial prejudice is the theme of an animated film to be shown Thursday at Rancho Santiago College.
“PLES” deals with immigration issues, stress caused by urban growth and the dangers of ethnic stereotyping.
It will be shown at 5 p.m. in Dunlap Hall on the Santa Ana campus. Dr. Joyce Earl, a psychologist, will lead a discussion after the film.
The movie is part of a series sponsored by the Rancho Santiago College Counseling Center. The Santa Ana campus is at Bristol and 17th streets.
