Los Angeles : Cal State Gets $3 Million
Cal State Los Angeles this week accepted three gifts totaling more than $3 million, which will be used to build a new fine arts complex.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Luckman gave $2.1 million for the complex, which will be named for them. Other gifts were $600,000 from Robert Ahmanson, president of the Ahmanson Foundation, and Lee Walcot, its director, and $500,000 from the J. Paul Getty Trust.
