Mar Vista : Hearing on Zoning Plan Slated
A second public hearing on a proposed downzoning along Centinela Avenue between National and Venice boulevards has been scheduled for April 11 at 1:30 p.m. in the second-floor hearing room of West Los Angeles City Hall, 1645 Corinth Ave.
The zone change would reduce by nearly one half building densities along the busy street and would limit the height of most structures to 33 feet.
The hearing was scheduled to accommodate people who were unable to attend a meeting on Feb. 23 in Mar Vista. Testimony taken at both hearings will be included in a hearing examiner’s report to be presented to the city Planning Commission in May.
