AND WAIT, THERE’S MORE: Kurtis Blow’s new album will include “Air Jordan,” a rap tune recorded with (guess who) Chicago Bulls star Michael Jordan. Blow added that he’d originally wanted Lakers great Magic Johnson but gave up after waiting six months “for him to make up his mind.” (Personal to Magic: forget about Blow--do something with Public Enemy). . . . If you’ve got a good song, don’t let it go to waste, we say. In that spirit, Sammy Hagar has penned a tune for pal Hank Williams Jr. titled “Kicking My (Rear End) Again.” And Huey Lewis has given a new song to the Four Tops, who are making a new album at Arista Records. . . . Bananarama’s Siobhan Fahey (who recently married Eurythmic Dave Stewart) has reportedly left the all-gal trio, to be replaced by Jacquie O’Sullivan. . . . We hear that Jeff Lynne, who’s producing Tom Petty’s current album, brought George Harrison by to play on a track. Lynne has also been working on a trio of tunes for Roy Orbison’s upcoming album. . . . The new Poison album, due out around the end of April, has a new title: “Open Up and Say Ahh.” . . . Our Album Title of the Week goes to Thomas Dolby, whose upcoming effort is called “Aliens Ate My Buick.” The new record, due next month, also contains “Airhead,” Key to Her Ferrari” and “Pulp Culture.” . . . And due in May from A&M; Records is “Joe Jackson Live, 1980-1986,” a double album full of Jackson concert performances.
