Man, 18, Is Slain While Driving on Santa Ana Street
An 18-year-old Santa Ana man was shot and killed as he drove along 1st Street in Santa Ana early Saturday, police said.
Constantino Palominos was driving west in the 2300 block at 1:58 a.m. when he was shot in the neck and upper arm, police said. The car then struck a tree, police said. Palominos died at the scene.
A female companion was not injured.
Police said they do not know who fired the shots, which came from an area of commercial buildings.
