Hee-Bee, a pit bull, was finally destroyed at the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals after being held 466 days in a cage, a spokesman for the society said. The dog was ordered destroyed by a Municipal Court judge after its unprovoked attack on a couple in Visitacion Valley in December, 1986. The pit bull was placed in solitary confinement at the SPCA, but a series of legal appeals delayed its execution until last week. An SPCA spokesman said the cost of caring for the dog during the period was $7,500.
