Local News in Brief : Fund for Officer’s Son
About $4,000 has been contributed to a trust fund for the 5-year-old son of slain Inglewood police Sgt. George Aguilar.
The Christopher Paul Aguilar fund was established after the shooting earlier this month of Aguilar, the first Inglewood police officer to be killed in the line of duty. Contributions can be sent to Lt. Lester Friesen, City of Inglewood, P.O. Box 6500, Inglewood, 90301.
