2 Injured, 30 Flee Homes After Blasts at Texas Plant

GODLEY, Tex. —
A series of explosions and a fire at an oil field supply manufacturing plant Tuesday injured two employees and forced the evacuation of about 30 nearby residents, authorities said. A spokesman for Owens Tool Co. said a charge being manufactured for use in oil drilling operations exploded, triggering other explosions and the fire.
