Houston and Kansas State Face Bruins

UCLA’s men’s and women’s track teams will play host to Houston and Kansas State today in a triangular meet at Drake Stadium.

Women’s field events will begin at 11:30 a.m., men’s at 1 p.m., running events to follow.

Houston’s men’s team will be led by sprinters Leroy Burrell and Joe DeLoach. Kenny Harrison, the 1988 national collegiate indoor triple jump champion, is a prominent performer for Kansas State.

The Bruin men are undefeated in dual meet competition this season with an 8-0 record.

USC’s men’s track team will compete in the Bruce Jenner meet today at San Jose. USC’s women will be in the Olympian invitational at El Paso.
