A FAN’S NOTES: OK, so we know Magic Johnson likes Michael Jackson (he said in GQ that he’d love to go on the road with him) and Isiah Thomas thinks Prince is really dope (he went to see him on tour in ‘86). But who rates with Michael (Air) Jordan, the NBA’s newest superstar? Jordan was in town recently, chipping in 36 points as the Chicago Bulls demolished the Clippers, 111-94. Cornered in the locker room before the game, where he was autographing everything from sneakers and posters to a couple of basketballs, Jordan told Times sportswriter Chris Baker that he’s not crazy about rap or house music (even though he’s slated to do a rap tune with Kurtis Blow). “I like mellow music, something that relaxes you,” he said. Asked to name favorites, he offered up Al Jarreau, Deniece Williams and Luther Vandross.
