What’s in a name? Bristol Town & Country Shopping Center is about to find out.
Starting April 30, the shopping center--located one block north of South Coast Plaza--will be called South Coast Town Square.
The hope of the mall’s private owners is that along with the new name will come an updated image. “The whole area now is known as the South Coast Metro area. So the merchants decided (the new name) would better establish” the center’s location, said Lawna Dillon, general manager.
