Another Trump Bid--This Time on Bridge

NEW YORK —
Donald Trump, who scored a public relations coup over City Hall by rebuilding the Central Park skating rink, today offered the same deal for repairing the closed Williamsburg Bridge.
The real estate mogul took a tour of the decaying, 85-year-old span, then said he would be willing to put up an estimated $250 million, which the government would repay, for repairs. Trump rebuilt the Wollman Skating Rink under a similar arrangement.
