‘Tango Bar’
Puerto Rico-Argentina, 1987
90 minutes , 10:15 p.m. Forget the plot, “Holiday Inn” gone Latin with Raul Julia. What counts are the dance numbers--archive footage with everybody from Valentino to Mickey Mouse, Gene Kelly and Dominique Sanda, tangoing away. Great numbers by Tango Argentino, sinuously shot by director Marcos Zurinaga. So what if the story doesn’t add up to much. Let’s dance.
