Zola Budd Is Caught Between the Political Rock and Hard Place
Thank you, Julie Cart, for the sensitive profile of Zola Budd (April 20). This extremely talented and articulate young athlete has been between the political rock and hard place long enough. The world’s consciousness has been raised, if not has high as it should be, in regards to South African injustice. Let us not further deter Budd’s progress by making an example of her.
