Former Ram linebacker Isiah Robertson has been arrested on outstanding warrants alleging possession of amphetamines and disturbing the peace, Irvine police said Friday.

Robertson, 38, was arrested at his Irvine home Wednesday morning after police responded to a domestic dispute there, according to Sgt. Gary Shull.

Robertson was booked in the Orange County Jail Wednesday and was released at 2 a.m. Friday on $20,222 bail, a jail official said.

“Police responded to a call of family disturbing the peace about 8:30 or 9 in the morning,” Shull said. “Upon checking police files, officers found the outstanding warrants from the courts were on file, and he was taken into custody on those.”

Robertson was arrested on a $10,000 warrant alleging possession of amphetamines, a $10,000 warrant alleging disturbing the peace and a $222 warrant for alleged traffic violations, police said.

Shull said the warrants were issued by Orange County courts, but he did not know when they had been issued.

Robertson was a starting linebacker for the Rams from 1971-78 and played in the Pro Bowl every year during that time except for 1972. He was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 1979.
