“Traci Lords brings to ‘Not of This Earth’ a skilled and unique talent that can only be called extraordinary.”

Come again?

That’s the opening of a bio in the official press kit for the Roger Corman-produced unearthly sci-fi fantasy film. Directed by Jim Wynorski and from Concorde Pictures, it opens May 20. “ ‘It was her natural grace and poise,’ said the late ballet maestro, ‘a blessing which cannot be acquired from lessons or surgery.’ ”

The bio concludes: “She is a symbol of America, and a role model for young women all over the world.”

Lords, now 19, is displayed prominently, with clothes, on the movie’s poster and has two brief nude scenes in the pic, the rep reports.
