A fan fell 40 feet from a Yankee Stadium escalator as he left the New York Yankee-Toronto game. David Bremner of Paramus, N.J., fell from the loge level to the main level, grazing a 12-year-old Connecticut boy as he landed, police said.
Bremner was hospitalized and reported to be in stable condition with multiple fractures.
Police said a preliminary investigation suggests that Bremner fell over the railing of the escalator while engaging in horseplay.
