UCSB, Hawaii Advance in West Regional Volleyball

UC Santa Barbara defeated UCLA, 15-11, 15-13, 15-11 and Hawaii outlasted Pepperdine in a 3-hour 5-minute match, 13-15, 15-5, 15-7, 16-18, 15-7, in the semifinals of the NCAA Division I Western Regional men’s volleyball tournament at UC Irvine Thursday.

Hawaii and UCSB will play Saturday night at UCI at 7:30 for the championship and an almost certain at-large bid to the NCAA final four at Fort Wayne, Ind., May 6-7.
