Marine’s Death: Questions, Disbelief and Descriptions

I haven’t read a word regarding the Richard Bottjer case on the wrong of the “players” involved driving off leaving two men on the ground. Why weren’t the police called immediately when the fight took place? Is Baxter’s so accustomed to brawls that they do nothing?

I have so many questions, and I have to answer questions daily from a dear little boy who asks, “Where is my daddy? Will my daddy pick me up?”

The circumstances of this “brawl” I do not condone, and I’m thankful this little one can’t read yet. “Daddy is in heaven with Jesus” is acceptable for right now (he’s a little guy with big faith). But he will wonder at our justice system when he’s a man.

I take care of this fatherless little boy, knew his father well and feel the grief for all the family. Mostly I feel this senseless death has received an unjust decision, and I wonder and question.
