I enjoyed reading “The Wild Bunch,” by Leslie Allyson Ward (March 13): Unfortunately, last year the zookeepers received bad publicity with the flamingo disaster. At that time I realized how important these people are in safeguarding these special creatures. Thanks for a great insight into their jobs.
