An across-the-board winner, an exuberant crowd-pleaser from writer-director-star Cheech Marin, who casts himself as a third-generation American who nevertheless finds himself deported to Tijuana. Amid the hilarity, Marin makes his points about the second-class nature of U.S. citizenship for minorities and the desperate plight of illegal aliens. With Daniel Stern and Kamala Lopez.
