Western State University College of Law is offering six full-tuition scholarships of $22,000 each to three categories of applicants for the fall semester, beginning Aug. 25. The Fullerton-based law school set a July 15 deadline for receiving applications from qualified community college graduates, qualified legal secretaries or paralegals and qualified law enforcement personnel, including bailiffs, marshals and probation officers as well as police and sheriff’s deputies. One scholarship in each category will be awarded at the school’s Fullerton campus and the other one in each category at the San Diego campus. Winners will be announced Aug. 1. Financial need is not a consideration.
